Legendary Magic: The Gathering Artist Christopher Rush tragically passed away recently in his home South Florida early this week.  Christopher Rush was a pioneer artist of his time – as one of the original 25 MTG artists his images of Black Lotus, Lightning Bolt, Forest, Gauntlet of Might and many others will be remembered by thousands of fans across the globe.

I spoke to Sierra Rush (Chris’ eldest daughter) today with the idea of holding an eBay auction for him.  With Sierra’s full support the following items will be auctioned on our eBay store for a 7 day auction starting Wednesday 2/17/2016 ending 2/24/2016.   All NET sales (Less ebay/PAYPAL fees) will go to Christopher Rush’s Memorial Fund.  To donate directly to his fund directly, please visit his GoFundme.com page here.

Chris was one of the first artist I worked with that believed in me.  When I first started my business, Chris spent his time to work with me on projects that wasn’t successful at first.  He gave me an opportunity to do business, even when I had no experience in the industry.  Chris was a selfless man.  He worked hard, and had an incredible passion for art.   I will always remember Chris’ contagious smile, iconic & colorful artwork, and most importantly his passion for being a father & family man.
