For your consideration, offered is Limited Edition "Time Walk" Giclee hand numbered & signed {out of 2000} by the original artist Amy Weber. This beautiful giclee features premium paper stock, using the finest archival materials - perfect to be framed and displayed proudly in your home or office.
NOTE = This giclee {print} actual print run was out of 100. The reason 2000 wasn't printed initially was we wanted to start with a smaller print run. However, when we tried to print more, the printer we used no longer produced giclees. Thus, we are printing a 2nd Edition {out of 1000}.
History: The "Time Walk" was originally created by Amy Weber for Magic: The Gathering (MTG) for the 1993 MTG Alpha Core Set. This represented one of the most important & iconic cards every produced for Magic. In Magic, there are nine cards that are arguably the most powerful in the game. The "Power 9" consisted of the Time Walk, Timetwister, Ancestral Recall, Mox Sapphire, Mox Ruby, Mox Pearl, Mox Emerald, Mox Jet and the Black Lotus. As one of the Power 9, the Time Walk gave a player to take another turn for a mere two mana. To this day, there are several cards that do perform a similar result, but not at the casting cost of the Time Walk. From an art perspective, Amy Weber masterfully creates an image that allows the viewer to find his/her own journey through time. The "Time Walk" figures, are almost just as iconic as the entire painting. VintageMagic.com, LLC had the opportunity of selling the original art, and in our opinion this was one of the most unique & wondrous pieces ever created in Magic. Today, the Time Walk image is ingrained in the minds of the artists, collectors, players and investors all over the world. With the 20th Anniversary of Magic: The Gathering passing, the journey of Magic continues to gather people from all walks of life to a game, a collectible, a piece of art - Magic has solidified its future as a main stay in today's pop culture.
